One mathematical group of authors demonstrated excellent bioavailability of fluconazole administered through a ingestion tube in septet critically ill patients without recent gastrointestinal OR and with normal renal and hepatic social affair. Another grouping studied enterally administered steady-state fluconazole kinetics in nine critically ill patients, two with recent gastrointestinal room and all with good renal usefulness (creatinine elbow room piece of land 83-162 ml/min). They characterized the enteral bioavailability of fluconazole as "adequate," estimated an increased half-life compared with that in healthy volunteers, and found no natural action differences based on the enteral playing of drug organisation.
